The Whistler Retreat storage bed emphasizes the beauty of rich wood grain in an updated style. Built from certified sustainably grown solid mango wood and mango veneers, with corner-blocked mortise and tenon construction throughout for strength. A center rail with 4 legs provides additional support. Finished with a 17-step process which includes hand sanding and hand rubbing to maximize grain quality and uniqueness in each piece. This bed references traditional style elements and modernizes them with clean lines and powder-coated metal drawer pulls. The 2 large end-of-bed storage drawers feature English dovetailed joints, full-extension glides for smooth operation, and three coats of clear finish inside. Coordinates with the rest of the Whistler Retreat collection.
